Top down renovation of a large unmodernised late Georgian house in Hackney. Great care was taken in interpreting and adding historical details for a brief that described the client’s desire for a luxe aesthetic of contemporary elegance. Extensive work was undertaken to upgrade the structure and thermal envelope in addition to replacing all surface finishes, mouldings, fixtures, fittings and services. A rear garden was also added, requiring extensive earthworks and substantial retaining works.
