Kensington Flat

The brief for this project described a minimalist scheme that would harness the client’s love of Japanese homes, an artist/ illustrator couple with a young child. The palette was kept to only two materials - American white oak and terrazzo - plus all lighting is diffused at 2700k and concealed to provide a soft and calming interior environment. The buiding is a 1930s art deco block in K&C, and intense coordination with the building management and conservation officers was required.
